Bank of America to Appoint Vikram Sahu as New Country Head in India

Bank of America Corp is set to appoint Vikram Sahu as the new country executive for its India operations, according to a memo. Sahu, currently head of global equity research based in New York, will succeed Kaku Nakhate in this role. He is expected to move to India in the second quarter to take charge of the India franchise. Nakhate, who has led the bank's India operations for 15 years, will continue as chief executive officer of the India regulated entity until the Reserve Bank of India approves Sahu's appointment. A spokesperson for Bank of America in India declined to comment.
