The average price of a pint of beer in the UK is projected to reach £5.01 due to rising costs, according to the British Beer and Pub Association. Emma McClarkin, chief executive of the BBPA, indicated that many pubs will need to pass these costs onto consumers to remain viable. Recent budget announcements impacting the beer and pub sector have resulted in a net cost of approximately £650 million.
