Britain's Argo Blockchain has announced that former Chief Growth Officer Justin Nolan will return as the company's Chief Executive Officer. Nolan, who most recently led digital infrastructure firm Arkon Energy, will succeed Thomas Chippas, who was appointed in January.
Since its founding in 2017, Argo has faced challenging business conditions, including the sale of its Helios mining facility in Texas in 2022 to avoid bankruptcy. Nolan will be the company’s second CEO in just over a year. Argo noted that he played a key role in expanding its operations, notably the development of the Helios project, during his previous tenure.
