Apple to Introduce AI Features and Spatial Content App into Vision Pro, Bloomberg Reports

Apple reportedly intends to integrate Apple Intelligence into its Vision Pro headset, add an updated mode for guest users, and introduce a spatial content app as soon as April, as per a Bloomberg News report on Saturday.

The company plans to introduce these features through a software update, potentially offering a beta version to developers this week according to sources familiar with the matter mentioned in the report.

Apple has been striving to integrate artificial intelligence into its products to maintain a competitive edge. It was reported earlier by Reuters that Apple is in discussion with Tencent and ByteDance, the owners of TikTok, to include their AI models in iPhones sold in China.

Starting at $3,499 in the United States, Apple's Vision Pro could feature Apple Intelligence, including tools like the Writing Tools interface, Genmojis, and the Image Playground app, as outlined by Bloomberg.

This move seems to be aimed at boosting sales of the device, which had seen a decline in interest following its launch in February of the previous year, likely due to its high price and competition from more affordable alternatives such as Meta Platforms' Quest.
